A weekly public affairs show about McKeesport and the Mon Valley, produced in cooperation with WEDO (810) and WZUM (1550).

Two Rivers, 30 Minutes for 01-23-2015

01-22-2015

Guest: Newly appointed McKeesport fire Chief Jeff List. Topics: What are some of the special challenges that firefighters deal with in a city like McKeesport, that maybe they wouldn't face in a more rural area? There have been a couple of fatal fires in the Mon Valley recently. In at least two of those fires, there were no working smoke detectors. What does the city ordinance say about having smoke detectors? For people who own their own home, where should your smoke detectors be located, and how many should you have?
