How Topic Discussed: Dr. Herbert V.R.P. Jones is one of the nation's leading experts on Black gospel music and holds degrees in music, divinity, history, counseling, choral conducting, education and ethnomusicology. On Jan. 14, he will help lead a group of choral singers from across the Pittsburgh area in the 16th annual "Let Freedom Sing," a musical celebration of the life of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Why is it so appropriate to celebrate King's life through music?
