The third-annual "Cars, Trucks and Bikes in the Park" is slated for 3 to 9 p.m. May 27 at the Heritage Pool Complex on Victoria Drive in White Oak.
Sponsored by the Rainbow Volunteer Fire Company, the event will include food, drawings and entertainment, a spokesperson said. Registration for vehicles begins at 2 p.m. The first 100 cars will receive a dash plaque and trophies will be awarded.
The event will take place rain or shine. Music will be provided by Lights Up Entertainment and Dana Von Dangerously will be making an appearance.
The White Oak American Legion Post 701 will host the annual Memorial Day parade on May 28. Lineup is at 11:45 a.m. and the parade will begin at 12:30 p.m.
The parade route is straight down Lincoln Way to State Street.
Also on May 28 is the opening of the Heritage Hill Pool. It will be open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., weather permitting. Passes can be purchased at the pool. A season pass is $60 for residents, $100 for non-residents. A day pass rate of $5 for residents or $10 for non-residents can also be purchased.
