Brewster announced partnerships with the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank and the Westmoreland County Food Bank as he also announced office hours for additional communities in the 45th Senatorial District.

The district stretches from Baldwin and Brentwood in Pittsburgh's South Hills to New Kensington in Westmoreland County.

“We’ve joined with area food banks to expand information availability and develop greater access to food for those in need,” Brewster said.  “Information about the food banks and locations of their services in our district are on our website and staff at my permanent and satellite offices will help facilitate contact.”

Brewster said his staff also will have outreach services at Produce to People and Operation Fresh events.  Those events provide direct access to fresh produce.

The senator said his staff will be ready to help local residents apply for essential state programs and services including property tax relief, rent rebate programs, the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program, the Pharmaceutical Assistance Contract for the Elderly, or PACE, program, and many others.

“With new offices and hours available in more communities, residents can better access the programs and services they need with the assistance of my district offices,” Brewster said.

New district office locations and hours of operation are:

Elizabeth Twp.: 1 to 4 p.m., second Tuesdays, Municipal Building, 522 Rock Run Road.

North Braddock: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays, Municipal Building, 600 Anderson St.

North Versailles Twp.: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesdays, Municipal Building, 1401 Greensburg Ave.

Turtle Creek: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesdays, Borough Building, 125 Monroeville Ave.

Existing satellite offices include Forward Twp. Municipal Building, 1000 Golden Circle, 9 a.m. to 12 noon, second Tuesdays; and Human Services Center Corp. of Turtle Creek, 413 Penn Ave. Ext., 1 to 4 p.m. first Thursdays.

Full-time district offices are open in McKeesport, Monroeville and New Kensington. A complete list, including contact information, is available on the district's website.
