High school and college students seeking work experience are encouraged to apply; we are willing to work with students who need credit toward class assignments. The Mon Yough Fire Defence Council will be holding it's regular monthly meeting at 7 p.m. Feb 27, a spokesman said. The meeting will be held at Vigilant Hose Co. No. 1, 1800 Romine Ave., Port Vue. All members are encouraged to attend.
The fire defense council represents fire, rescue and EMS companies from Allegheny, Westmoreland, Washington and Fayette counties.
