Tube City Community Media Inc. is seeking freelance writers to help cover city council, news and feature stories in McKeesport, Duquesne, White Oak and the neighboring communities. High school and college students seeking work experience are encouraged to apply; we are willing to work with students who need credit toward class assignments. Two local coin clubs have scheduled their April meetings, a spokesman announced.
The monthly meeting of the South Hills Coin Club will be held at 8 p.m. April 9 at Bethel Presbyterian Church, 2999 Bethel Church Rd., Bethel Park. All members and the general public are invited. This month's program to be announced. A 50/50 will be offered and children's prizes will be awarded.
The monthly meeting of the Mon Valley Coin Club will be held at 2 p.m. April 21 at 303 Chamber Plaza in Charleroi. All members and the general public are invited. Program for this meeting to be announced.
Applications are now being accepted for membership in both clubs. For additional information on either organization, call (724) 984-6611.
