Round Hill Road Closed Through Late November

Round Hill Road in Elizabeth Twp. will be closed until late November to replace a small bridge, the Allegheny County Public Works Department has announced.
The existing structure, known as Douglas Run Bridge No. 10, will be replaced with a reinforced concrete pipe, a spokesman said.
The bridge is located one half-mile east of the intersection of Round Hill Road and state Route 48.
The detour route includes Route 48, Peairs Road and Simpson Howell Road. The $450,000 project is being completed by Pugliano Construction of Plum Borough.
