North Versailles Twp. commissioners posted the monthly reports for the police and fire departments.
During March, North Versailles police department received 728 calls, made 23 arrests and housed five inmates from East McKeesport and eight from Turtle Creek. Firefighters answered 49 calls during March.
Commissioner Russell Saula said commissioners voted to approve payments for March in the amount of $2,927.23 to West Wilmerding VFC and $5,769.20 for Crestas VFC from the 2018 Fire Tax Money.
During April, North Versailles police department received 800 calls, made 24 arrests and housed three inmates from East McKeesport and four from Turtle Creek. Firefighters answered 39 calls during April, according to Saula.
At the May 17 meeting, township commissioners voted to approve payments in the amount of $3,353.21 to West Wilmerding VFC and $5,608.58 for Crestas VFC from the 2018 Fire Tax Money.
