W. Newton Library Hosts Book Sale

West Newton Library, 124 N. Water St., is holding a used book sale, a spokesperson said.
Visitors to the library can fill a bag for $5 during regular business hours, 12 noon to 5 p.m. Mondays and Thursdays, 12 noon to 7 p.m. Wednesdays and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays.
All books have been sanitized and held for three days prior to being placed on sale, the spokesperson said.
Additional books are available for purchase at Gary’s Chuckwagon Restaurant on South Second Street, the spokesperson said. Paperback books are 50 cents, hardcover books are $1 and children’s books are 25 cents.
In addition, the library also is selling for $3 each a limited number of water glasses decorated with the image of West Newton High School.
Donations of gently used books, as well as used jewelry, are being accepted for the library’s 2021 sale. For more information, call (724) 633-0798.
