DUI Arrest: Jason M. Schmidt, 36, of Jefferson Hills was charged by Southwest Regional Police with driving under the influence, driving with a suspended license, and motor-vehicle violations.
Drug Charge: Adam J. Walter, 27, of Union Twp. was charged by Southwest Regional Police with possession of drug paraphernalia in relation to an incident on Jan. 26.
Theft: First Energy Corp. reported to Southwest Regional Police that sometime between the evening of Jan. 20 and the morning of Jan. 22, someone cut through a gate at the Mitchell Power Plant on Route 837 in Union Twp. and stole approximately $3,000 worth of three-phase power cable.
