High school and college students seeking work experience are encouraged to apply; we are willing to work with students who need credit toward class assignments. West Newton First Church of God will be holding an Election Day luncheon from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 18, a spokesperson said. Lunches are available for take-out only.
The church is located 157 N. Second St. Call (724) 872-7467. The menu will be posted on Facebook.
The church’s annual Strawberry Festival will return from 4 to 7 p.m. May 27 at the Sewickley Grange on Greensburg Pike, with take out only. Details will be posted on Facebook.
