Heritage Hill Swimming Pool will open to the public May 31, White Oak officials said. Pre-sale of passes began May 12.

Due to COVID-19 health restrictions, no daily passes will be sold this year. Cost of a season pass is $60 for residents and $75 for non-residents. For senior citizens, passes for $30 for residents, and $60 for non-residents. Proof of residency and age is required.

Passholders will be given a photo ID which will be required to enter the pool complex.

Councilwoman Julie Opferman, who chairs the Parks and Recreation Committee, said season pass holders will be allowed to purchase five days’ worth of limited guest passes for $25.

“There will be designated areas to eat, and we’re talking with a contractor about getting vending machines,” she said.

In other business, the American Legion will host the annual Memorial Day parade beginning at 12:30 p.m. on Lincoln Way.

A rabies clinic will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 5 at the municipal public works garage, 2280 Lincoln Way.

Cost is $5 for White Oak residents and $10 per pet for non-residents. Payment should be made with exact change. Pets should be on a leash or in a pet carrier.

Additional inoculations for DHLPP and bordetella (dogs) and FVRCP and FELV (cats) are available for $15 each. The event is sponsored by White Oak Animal Safe Haven and the borough. Pet owners should bring proof of previous rabies vaccinations.
