Housing Choice Voucher Program

The McKeesport Housing Authority will be accepting applications for the Housing Choice Voucher Program (Section 8) Waiting List.

When?

April 10, 2023, 8:30 AM @ 2901 Brownlee Ave. McKeesport, PA 15132.
NO APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED BEFORE THE ABOVE POSTED TIMES.

APPLICATIONS WILL BE DATE AND TIME STAMPED UPON RECEIPT. APPLICATIONS CAN BE SUBMITTED IN PERSON, FAX 412-673-1706, EMAIL TO BBRAY@MCKHA.ORG.

The McKeesport affiliate of the National Alliance on Mental Illness will meet at 6 p.m. Oct. 6 in Room 122 of the Frable Building, Penn State Greater Allegheny.

The meeting is open to families and friends of loved ones living with mental illness.

The guest speaker will be Heather McLean, outreach director of the Mental Health Association of Southwestern PA and chair of the Ray of Hope Suicide Prevention Center, located in Greensburg. She will describe the variety of services provided by the center including the Hope and Support Group for those recovering from a suicide attempt.

Upon entering any Penn State property individuals are required to wear masks regardless of vaccination status and to comply with such rules and precautions while on the property.

NAMI is the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to building better lives for the millions of Americans affected by mental illness.  We offer understanding and support unique to those who are affected by these conditions. NAMI McKeesport occasionally invites mental health professionals to speak about treatment and resources.
