High school and college students seeking work experience are encouraged to apply; we are willing to work with students who need credit toward class assignments. Turkey Giveaway on Thursday at Founders’ Hall

Up to 400 turkeys are expected to be distributed to needy families during an event this Thursday (Nov. 18).
The giveaway is being organized by State Rep. Austin Davis in conjunction with Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank and U.S. Steel, a spokesperson said. Reservations must have been made in advance through the food bank.
The turkeys as well as boxes containing side dishes will be distributed from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at Founders’ Hall Middle School, 3600 O’Neil Blvd.
Additional state-related resources also will be distributed at this event, the spokesman said.
