Tube City Community Media Inc. is seeking freelance writers to help cover city council, news and feature stories in McKeesport, Duquesne, White Oak and the neighboring communities. High school and college students seeking work experience are encouraged to apply; we are willing to work with students who need credit toward class assignments. Parish Hosts Cookie Walk Dec. 18

Mary, Mother of God Parish will host a Cookie Walk from 12 noon to 4 p.m. Dec. 18 at Corpus Christi Social Hall, 803 Market St., McKeesport, a spokeswoman said.
Attendees can grab a cup of hot chocolate, stroll cookie lane and select a from a wide variety of homemade treats. A dozen cookies cost $7. Kids can decorate their own sugar cookie and visit with Santa Claus.
