County Offices Closed for Christmas, New Year’s

Parks will be open on holiday schedules

In observance of the upcoming Christmas and New Year’s Day holidays, Allegheny County offices will be closed on Dec. 24 and Dec. 31, a spokesperson said.

All county offices will be closed on Christmas Eve. The Department of Court Records, including the Marriage License & Passport Office, also will be closed on Dec. 27.

All other offices will return to regular business hours on Dec. 27.

All county offices will be closed on New Year’s Eve, Dec. 31. Offices will return to regular business hours on Jan. 3.

Weather and conditions permitting, North Park and South Park golf courses will be open during the holiday. Hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 24, Dec. 31 and Jan. 1. The courses will be closed Dec. 25, 28, 29 and 30.

Operational changes are in effect at both courses, and golfers are asked to observe COVID-19 guidelines to help contain the spread of the virus.
