High school and college students seeking work experience are encouraged to apply; we are willing to work with students who need credit toward class assignments. LaRosa Youth Club will hold a summer camp for students ages 5 to 14 beginning June 13, a spokesman said.
The camp runs for 10 weeks, from June 13 to Aug. 19, and will include a variety of activities, including physical education, games, arts and crafts and science and technology projects.
Registration is now open and is limited to the first 60 kids enrolled. Students are enrolled on a first-come, first-served basis. Breakfast, lunch and a snack will be served each day.
The cost is $125 per week but need-based scholarships and subsidies are available, and multi-child discounts are provided to families. Cash, checks and money orders are accepted as payment and a $50 per family deposit is required at the time of registration.
The deposit is non-refundable and will be applied to the first week of tuition.
