High school and college students seeking work experience are encouraged to apply; we are willing to work with students who need credit toward class assignments. White Oak Church Plans 'Races' Night Oct. 15

St. Angela Merici Parish in White Oak will hold its annual "Night at the Races" fundraiser on Oct. 15, a spokeswoman said. The event will be held in the parish's Father Drap Hall and doors open at 6 p.m.
Admission is $10 and includes a buffet meal and beverages. Horses can be purchased for $5 and race winners receive $25. Other events will include a Chinese auction, 50/50 drawing, door prizes and other social games.
