State Sen. Nick Pisciottano will welcome constituents and community leaders to the official grand opening celebration for his district office on Lysle Boulevard during a drop-in open house event.

Hours are 3 to 6 p.m. Thursday (Sept. 25), a spokesperson said. The office is located on the ground floor of the McKeesport Public Safety Building, 201 Lysle Blvd.

A former state representative, Pisciotanno, a West Mifflin Democrat, was elected to the 45th Senatorial District seat last year, following the retirement of longtime state Sen. Jim Brewster of McKeesport.

The 45th District stretches south to the Washington County line, east to Westmoreland County, west to Baldwin, Brentwood and Castle Shannon, and north through Monroeville and Plum.

“I’m excited to welcome neighbors and local leaders to our newly renovated McKeesport District Office,” Pisciottano said in a prepared statement. “This space is designed to be accessible, welcoming and a resource for anyone who needs help with state services. I look forward to connecting with constituents and showcasing how my team is here to serve the community.”

Regular business hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Mondays through Fridays. Parking is available in the city lot at the corner of Walnut and Lysle, or on Market Street near the fire station.
