High school and college students seeking work experience are encouraged to apply; we are willing to work with students who need credit toward class assignments. In its long history, North Versailles Township has had many commissioners. At its September meeting, the Board of Commissioners welcomed the township’s first-ever Junior Commissioner.
Sophia Sciulli was sworn into the position by District Judge Roxanne Eichler.
Sciulli, a senior at East Allegheny High School, said she applied for the position after reading about it in the district newsletter “to get more involved in local government.”
