For more than 10 years, Project Prom has provided eligible high school students the opportunity to choose free formal attire from a selection of thousands of donated items.

Eligible local high school students will be offered the opportunity to select from among hundreds of new and gently worn dresses, in the latest trends, in a wide range of sizes and colors. Accessories, including shoes, purses, wraps and jewelry will also be available to complete the ensemble. Each participant will be paired with a personal stylist to help students find the perfect gown and accessories.

This year's event will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 14 at the Project Prom Shop on the third level of Century III Mall. For more information about Project Prom, visit www.alleghenycounty.us/dhs/projectprom.

Project Prom is an outreach effort of the Allegheny County Department of Human Services.
