McKeesport’s 40th Annual Festival of TreesWhere: Jacob Woll Pavilion, Renziehausen Park (off Eden Park Blvd) |
McKeesport’s 40th Annual Festival of Trees opens at 12 noon today (Dec. 4) with more than 90 hand-decorated Christmas trees on display through Monday.
The annual holiday display, hosted at the Jacob Woll Pavilion in Renziehausen Park, continues daily from 12 to 9 p.m. Admission is $2, and children 12 and younger are admitted for free with donation of a canned good or nonperishable food.
The event includes a look-and-find scavenger hunt for children, with special activities, entertainment and visits with Santa throughout the day. Visitors also are invited to vote for their favorite trees in a variety of categories.
Additional festival activities take place at the nearby McKeesport Regional History & Heritage Center and the Garden Club of McKeesport, a spokeswoman said.
1. Striffler Family Funeral Homes, “Celebration of Life” – This tree is a tribute to all loved ones who have passed in 2024. Whether recently or many years ago, your loved ones will always remain a part of your life. Whether that loved one was your spouse, child, parent, grandparent, sibling, grandchild, cousin, aunt, uncle, companion, or friend, a loss is never easy and the time you spent together is never forgotten. Celebrate and cherish your loved ones’ lives.
2. Striffler Family Funeral Homes, “Beloved Pet Services” – This tree is a tribute to all our furry friends who have passed. Our fur-babies are part of our families, and the time we spend together is never forgotten.
3. White Oak Animal Safe Haven, “W.O.A.S.H.” – White Oak Animal Safe Haven is a no-kill shelter that provides medical care and good homes for homeless animals. Come visit the shelter! It may have your new best friend.
4. National Alliance on Mental Illness, “Care and Share” – NAMI’s McKeesport Area Support Group meets monthly at Penn State Greater Allegheny. The group meets on the first Wednesday of every month – inviting families and friends of loved ones living with mental illness to “Care and Share” sessions that offer understanding and support. For more information about the McKeesport meeting call 412-527-6600. For the NAMI Helpline call 412-366-3788 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
5. Joyful Bloomers Garden Club, “Merry Christ-MOSS” – Merry Christ-MOSS from the Joyful Bloomer’s Garden Club. For our tree this year, we went straight to our roots and rocks, literally, and created shadow box moss garden pictures incorporating objects found in nature. The same goes for the clear ornaments on the tree which are filled with mosses and other interesting natural elements. The tree topper is a Christ-MOSS frog, of course, and he is wishing you all a beautiful holiday season.
6. Nuttall Public Safety Equipment, “Die Cast Tree” – This is a handmade, custom-designed tree to display some of the more than 100 die-cast replica emergency vehicles made by Nuttall Die-Cast.
7. Jodie Matta-Dillinger Cancer Supporters, “Pink Out” – JMD Cancer Supporters chose a pink tree to represent breast cancer awareness. This tree represents hope, strength, and the relentless courage of those affected by breast cancer. The pink theme is a reminder of the ongoing fight and the importance of early detection, support, and the solitary of those around the affected. The tree honors survivors, remembers loved ones, and shows compassion with everyone touched by this disease. It’s more than a tree, it’s a symbol of love, resilience, and the power of coming together for a meaningful cause.
8. Altrusa International of McKeesport, “Lighting the Way for Community Service” – Mamie L. Bass, founder of Altrusa International, believed in the power of women to lead, serve and create lasting change. Her vision continues to guide us as we address community needs through service and compassion. Since 1941, our club has been dedicated to supporting the McKeesport community. To honor this year’s theme, our display will feature tree inspired design with birch branches and lanterns, symbolizing growth and light through service.
9. Sharon Soles & Jen Vertullo, “TEAL Me Something I Don’t Know” – Everything is better with a touch of teal, the favorite color of our community’s two favorite volunteers!
10. Faith Lutheran Church, “The Christmas Nail” – Born the son of a carpenter, a simple nail played a very important role in Jesus life. Placing a nail on our Christmas tree reminds us of the nails used by his father, in the manger that held baby Jesus, to the nails that pierced his body as he died for our sins. At this holiday season may Jesus be the nail that holds our faith together.
11. McKeesport Lions Club, “Everyone Loves Music” – The McKeesport Lions Club hosts our favorite Renzie Park events ... the Summer Concert Series! Their tree is decorated with a music theme and pictures from the concerts in the park.
12. Soy McKeesport, “December in Latin America” – Take a journey through Latin America! Each ornament is handmade by a SOY McKeesport student and depicts the typical weather in each country during December and their national tree. The Latino Community Center is a nonprofit organization based in Pittsburgh, PA. Our mission is to provide our children, youth, and families the tools and opportunities needed to reach their full potential through educational programming, family support, and community building. SOY McKeesport is an afterschool program for grades K-5 focusing on academic advancement, social-emotional development, cultural enrichment, and family engagement.

Shadows and cobwebs reflect where we’ve been, ornaments of hope and joy reflect where we’re going. It’s a tribute to every person learning to belong, to trust, and to heal. Displaying the powerful shift from chaos to calm from brokenness to belonging and from nightmares to healing.
14. City of McKeesport Fair Housing, “Home” — Home is where the heart truly is and everyone deserves a safe and cozy home all year round. City of McKeesport Fair Housing provides educational information and outreach regarding federal fair housing laws.
15. Carnegie Library of McKeesport, “Book Marks and Pages” – Curl up with your favorite book this winter or venture to the library to check out something new! Whatever you choose, be sure to grab a bookmark to hold your place.
16. Daughters of the American Revolution Queen Aliquippa Chapter, “Hope, Freedom and Democracy” – Since 1886, the Statue of Liberty has stood proudly on Liberty Island in New York Harbor. She has welcomed millions of immigrants over the years and continues to be a Symbol of Hope, Freedom and Democracy to all who come to America for a better life. America will celebrate its 250th birthday on July 4, 2026. Let us remember that our country was founded by immigrants. Our forefathers came with hope, dreams of freedom, and a determination to pursue a new life. They faced many unknown dangers in this wild and untamed wilderness. Still, they persevered to find that freedom from tyranny and want. They worked hard and built a better life, not only for themselves and their families, but for future generations of Americans. The tree is decorated family photos, world country flags, excerpts of Emma Lazarus’ poem, “The New Colossus” along with ornaments and lights.
17. Mary, Mother of God Parish Faith Formation, “Angels We Have Heard on High” – This Christmas tree reflects the joyous proclamation of the angels announcing the birth of Christ. Adorned with handmade angel ornaments created by our Faith Formation students, the tree serves as a reminder of God’s message of peace, hope, and goodwill. Each angel ornament was handmade with love to remind us of the night the angels sang, “Gloria in excelsis Deo!” Their bright wings and happy faces celebrate the wonder of the Nativity and the heavenly chorus that first heralded our Savior’s coming.
18. Mary of Nazareth Catholic School, “Follow the Star to Jesus” – This tree was created by the students of Mary of Nazareth Catholic School, from grades Pre-K to 8th Grade to embrace the coming of Jesus! They have adorned the tree with stars to remind us to find Jesus and remain part of our faith.
19. Living Hope Church, “Thank God for His Incredible Gift” – This tree shines with a message of faith, gratitude, and the true meaning of Christmas. Wrapped in scripture and adorned in white and silver, it’s a beautiful reminder of the hope celebrated this season.
20. St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, “True Story” – The St. Stephen’s congregation hand stenciled scenes and inspirational words from the nativity on clear ornaments. The finishing touch is a handmade rag garland. The church wants everyone to know that this is the true story of the birth of our Savior.
21. Sampson Mills Presbyterian Church, “Snowflakes” – EPIC Wednesday, Sampson Mills’ intergenerational mid-week ministry, worked hard to make a variety of snowflake ornaments with the lesson that just as snowflakes are all unique, God made each of us unique as well.
22. Garden Club of McKeesport, “Angels in the Garden” – The Angels delight in the flowers in the garden. It is said that when you catch the scent of roses Angels are near. This tree has ornaments that are decorated with real pressed flowers, a rose and ivy garland, and rose petal angels.
23. McKeesport Trail Commission, “Furry, Flurry Trail Friends” – Experience nature with the McKeesport Trail Commission. This tree features some of the flora and fauna you might encounter on a late fall ride or walk along the McKeesport Loop or Great Allegheny Passage.
24. McKeesport Regional History & Heritage Center, “Silver Screens of the Mon Valley” – This silver tree is covered with feathered plumes and film strip garland. It is topped with a movie camera to highlight the many theaters of McKeesport along with the movies filmed throughout McKeesport and the Mon Valley.
25. McKeesport City Hall Employees, “In Loving Memory” – The City of McKeesport lost one of its best friends in 2025, when Pennsylvania Representative Matthew Gergely passed. This tree honors his life and legacy with beautiful memories shared among his family, friends, and coworkers.
26. Founders Hall Middle School National Junior Honor Society, “Disco Nights” – Founders’ Hall Middle School NJHS is proud to display a “Disco Nights” tree. Decorated in eye catching rainbow steamers that cascade and surround the branches, this tree represents the positivity and excitement of the holiday season. The main focal point of the tree is the rotating disco ball at the top. As it swirls and glows, it brings magic to all who look upon it.
27. Franics McClure After-School Program, “Once A Tiger, Always a Tiger” – This tree proudly roars with McKeesport Tiger spirit! Decorated by students in the Francis McClure CCLC 12 Future Minds after-school program, it celebrates the pride, loyalty, and lifelong connection we share as part of the McKeesport Area School District family. Each ornament reflects the heart of our school community — from handmade STEAM ornaments and creative student projects to tiger paws in our school colors of blue and red, all symbolizing teamwork and resilience. “Once a Tiger, Always a Tiger” reminds us that no matter where life takes us, we carry our Tiger pride forever!
28. Francis McClure Elementary, “A Festival of Specials” – Decorated by the itinerant special-area teachers, this tree celebrates the special subjects that light up learning — Art, Music, Physical Education, Computer, STEM, and World Language. Each branch features ornaments that represent how these subjects inspire creativity, curiosity, movement, and global thinking. From paint palettes and music notes to gears, sneakers, and friendly greetings in multiple languages, every detail honors the unique ways students grow through our classes. “A Festival of Specials” highlights the joy of learning and the importance of educating the whole child. Our students shine brightest when they explore, create, perform, experiment, and discover the world around them — and this tree brings all of those experiences together in one colorful celebration.
29. LaRosa Youth Club, “Snow Much Fun at LYC” – LaRosa Youth Club members created Christmas ornaments using popsicle sticks that they painted and decorated for the holiday season.
30. AIU McKeesport Family Center, “Loretta Owl’s Big Christmas Wish” – Join Loretta Owl on a heartwarming Christmas adventure as she discovers the true spirit of the holiday season. With a special wish in her heart, Loretta sets off on a journey filled with unexpected surprises, new friendships, and the magic of generosity. This enchanting tale is perfect for children. And will inspire joy, kindness, and holiday cheer in every reader.
31. Twin Rivers Elementary School, “Tossle Cap Season” – Students from Mrs. Welsh (fifth grade) and Mrs. Hartley (third grade) made tossle cap ornaments during art class with Mrs. Reed to get ready for the winter months.
32. Twin Rivers Drama Club, “Frozen” – The tree is decorated with items reflecting the musical Frozen. Snowflakes and snowman faces will adorn the branches, getting everyone in the mood for the Christmas season.
33. Twin Rivers After-School Program, “An Extra Straw-Merry Christmas” – Students enrolled in Twin Rivers’ after-school program created handmade ornaments during their STEAM class. STEAM encourages creative thinking through Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math.
34. Park Baptist Church, “Spreading God’s Love” – This tree is decorated with various kinds of heart ornaments made by the children from the church. The heart ornaments are handmade with love, to share God’s love. Please feel free to take one and feel God’s love all throughout the year.
35. Mayor Mike Cherepko, “Working Together for a Better McKeesport” – The theme of “Working Together” is more than a slogan. It’s an invitation for every member of the McKeesport community to be a part of the great things happening in the City. Decorated in an orange and black construction theme, it reflects Mayor Cherepko’s campaign to build a better community for everyone to enjoy.
36. Trulieve, “Cultivating Community, Growing Together” – Trulieve is a medical cannabis growing facility located in McKeesport. The corporation supports organizations serving McKeesport residents through the McKeesport Community Fund, which makes generous donations for programming and operating support to local nonprofits each year.
37. Jean’s Custom Clean, “The Can That Saved Christmas” – Jean’s Custom Clean celebrates 40 years of community, creativity, and clean fixes with WD-40, stopping the squeaks, and sweeping in the season’s shine.

39. Girl Scout Troop 52959, “Be a Sister to Every Girl” – This year Troop 52959’s tree focuses on the final line of the Girl Scout Law, which is to “Be a Sister to Every Scout.” This Girl Scouts around the world connect to one another, through shared traditions and Girl Scout Special Dates.
40. McKeesport Area High School and Technology Center, “The Key of Life” – The ankh, or “key of life,” is an ancient Egyptian hieroglyphic symbol for “life” and is a cross with a loop at the top. It represents physical life, eternal life, and the afterlife. All ornaments are handmade by students enrolled in the high school art classes and the MATC Commercial and Advertising Art class.
41. First Step Recovery Homes, “First Step Into Recovery” — First Step Recovery Homes was founded in 1992 when Keith Giles began providing structured, drug- and alcohol-free housing for men in a single Penny Street residence. Since that time, the organization and its services have grown to be at the forefront of social services in Allegheny County. Its mission is to emphasize sustainable recovery for those struggling with addiction.

50. NAACP McKeesport Unit 2269, “Let Freedom Ring” – As the world’s oldest Civil Rights organization, the NAACP designed this tree to focus on the continued fight for freedom, life, liberty, and justice for all.
51. MASD Administration Office, “Tiger Pride” – MASD is roaring with Tiger Pride. Decked out in red and blue, this tree is a celebration of what it means to be a Tiger. From spirited decorations to pops of school pride, everywhere you look, you see the tradition that makes McKeesport unforgettable. Around here, the motto is “Once a Tiger, Always a Tiger.”
52. McKeesport Business and Professional Women’s Club, “Visions of Sugar Plums” – The McKeesport BPW Club wishes all of our children “sweet” dreams this holiday season.
53. Cub Scout Pack 53, “Friendship” – The Scouting program is about building friendships and bonds that last a lifetime. The Scouts of Pack 53 have put together this tree highlighting their friendship and the memories that they make in the Scouting program.

Street Dog Coalition, “Puppy Love” – The coalition’s vision is a world where everyone, regardless of their housing or financial situation, has access to affordable veterinary care for their furry friends. They envision a future full of puppy love, where society recognizes the interconnection between people and their pets. Through equitable, compassionate, and community-driven programs, they strive to take care of both ends of the leash.

MAHS Tri-M Honor Society, “Music Connects Us All” – McKeesport’s Tri-M Music Honor Society chapter opens up a world of opportunities for students who have shown themselves to be academically capable and musically gifted. Through performance and community service, they develop confidence, creativity, critical thinking, compassion, and a host of other leadership skills. They perform for community service, to inspire, and to share the gift of music.
56. LUX, “Love You Infinity” – I love you, times infinity is the theme behind LUX, and the stars around the name represent this restaurant/bar owner’s children. The place was opened to restore good, old-fashioned fun in the community with a safe space to spend a night out.
57. UPMC McKeesport, “Helping Hands in Health Care,” – Staff of UPMC McKeesport answer the question, “What does working in healthcare mean to you?” Each department submitted a part of the garland created by their own hand tracings.
58. MAHS Band, Orchestra, and Color Guard, “Sparked” – The title of the band’s competitive show this year was “Sparked,” combining the smooth movements of the color guard with the electrifying sounds of the band. The band was led onto the field by Drum Majors Antoine Smith, Anya Bakaturski, and Michael Pfeffercorn!
59. Festival of Trees Committee, “A Golden Christmas” -- This filler tree adds a bit of extra sparkle to the festival.
60. Semper Fidelis Club of McKeesport, “The Beauty of Unity” – The dominant Blue and Gold tree colors showcase the legacy of the historic and symbolic blue and gold colors of the Semper Fidelis Club of McKeesport, PA. Organized in 1919 the symbolic colors are just one aspect of the organization’s “Always Faithful” creed and motto. Faithful to the cause of Scholarship, the organization and its Blue & Gold premise has been instrumental in providing collegiate level financial support for countless McKeesport High School Graduates. The “Beauty of Unity” theme is heightened by the trees delicate clear bulbs that exquisitely showcase “Women of Power”: those who have in the past and continue to serve the city, the region, the country, the world. Additional beauty of the tree is seen in the fun inspired Gingerbread Shapes that symbolize tradition and our community members. The poinsettias denote continued growth and life in the community. The red bulbs exemplify the depth of the love of God and country and the pearls elegantly link everything together in the spirit of peace, love and unity of the holiday season. As in past years, the tree’s combination of soft and bright colors symbolize the understanding that all can and should be conduits of peace and joy. Not only at Christmas but throughout the year.
61. McKeesport Little Theater, “It’s a Twister” – Experience the whirlwind adventure of Dorthy in Oz as MLT prepares to present “The Wizard of Oz” in March of 2026. This tornado-themed tree features Dorothy’s Kansas farmhouse and the twister that lands her in Munchkin Land. Follow the yellow brick road to the little theater!
62. State Rep. Dan Goughnour, “The 35th” – This tree is dedicated to showing thanks to the local first-responders and elected officials who serve the communities of Pennsylvania’s 35th Legislative District. They work to make the Mon Valley and 35th District a wonderful place to live.
63. State Senator Nick Pisciottano, “Happy Holidays to the 45th District” – Senator Pisciottano is proud to represent the 45th Senatorial District communities in the PA State Senate. Each community is represented on a decorated stocking, and hung with care, along with a variety of festive ornaments, bright lights and holiday cheer! Senator Pisciottano wishes everyone a joyous holiday season!
64. McKeesport Alliance Church, “All in God’s Family” – This tree features a collection of ornaments with special meaning from the Alliance families.
65. Alliance Child Care Center, “Shrinky Dinky Christmas” – The ACCC children used cups to decorate their tree. Each child colored a plastic cup and then an adult melted the cup — kind of like a Shrinky Dink! The result is what you see — colorful discs, each unique in its own way. Each child showed their creativity as they colored their cup, choosing whatever colors they liked and designed however they wanted.
66. TKO Gyros, Fries, and More, “Merry Christmas from TKO” – Support small businesses and celebrate the season with a full belly this year! TKO is among McKeesport’s restaurants serving food during this busy time of year. The tree is decorated with food ornaments that portray TKO’s menu.
67. Alex Ernst, “SIX SEVEN!” – Don’t ask us to explain ... Because we can’t! Actually, can your kids explain it to us?
68. Auberle SNAP Program, “Stop Now And Plan” – Kids in Auberle’s SNAP (Stop-Now-And-Plan) program worked with their grown-ups to identify the best ways to calm their bodies down (red light), cool thoughts that promote self-esteem (yellow light), and plans that keep their problems small (green light).
69. McKeesport Baseball Tournaments, “How the Grinch Stole Home” — On Who-ville’s sandlot, the game was tied tight, The Whos faced the Grinch in a last inning’s fight. They, with two outs, their scores marked in a tie, Robby Wobbles Who pitched, letting fastballs fly by. The Grinch on third base, eyes focused to flee, Watched Robby Wobbles pitch wildly, as sly as can be. Then — in a flash — he dashed home with a grin, Max barked from the dugout, “That’s how we win!” Grinch slid into home and the crowd gave a cheer, Stealing the game — along with Christmas, I fear! Robby’s eyes widened, shouting out, “What a play!” Forever in Who-ville, they’ll remember that day.
70. McKeesport PONY-COLT Baseball, “Happy Birthday, Helen Richey” — Helen Richey was a pioneering aviator and an important figure in McKeesport, particularly notable for being one of the first female pilots in the United States. Born in McKeesport in 1909, she made history in the 1930s by becoming the first woman to earn a commercial pilot’s license in the U.S. and the first woman to fly for a commercial airline.
71. Boy Scouts of America Pack 4, “Scouting” – This tree shows the 12 points of Scout law along with handmade ornaments from each of the scouts.
72. Another Shoulder, “Hope” – When a cancer patient finishes chemotherapy or radiation therapy, it has become a tradition to ring a bell to mark the end of one of their treatments. The “Bell of Hope” signifies a survivor’s journey through the cancer treatment process. Another Shoulder is dedicated to providing bells for treatment centers across the region and beyond.
73. Pittsburgh Dream Center, “JOY” – The Pittsburgh Dream Center encourages festival-goes to embrace their J-O-Y ... or Jesus Others Yourself by seeing the need around you and responding in service.
74. McKeesport Recreation Board, “Sports and Rec” – The City’s recreation board is made up of dedicated volunteers who give their time to make sure the people of McKeesport have plenty of great programs to enjoy throughout the year. Programs include an Easter Egg Hunt, Fishing Derby, Movies in the Park, Basketball Clinic, Tennis Clinic, Halloween Parade, Salute to Santa Parade and the Festival of Trees. 75. Boys & Girls Club McKeesport Teen Center, “Boys & Girls” — A white tree with blue lights, this display features Boys and Girls Club swag and handmade decorations by members of the Duquesne Clubhouse and McKeesport Teen Center.
76. Serra Catholic High School Marching Band, “Bushido, the Way of the Warrior” – The “Bushido, The Way of the Warrior” tree is representative of the amazing 2025 marching band show performed by the Serra Catholic Marching Band!
77. Serra Catholic High School, “Serra Catholic Christmas” – This tree shines with the creativity and spirit of Serra Catholic High School students. Ornament were painted by students and reflect the mission of Serra Catholic of “Bringing Students’ Gifts to Life.” From symbols of faith and service to expressions of artistry and school pride, every piece represents the unique gifts our students share.
78. McKeesport College Club, “Thank You for Your Service” – In Keeping with the College Club’s commitment to the community, our theme for this year’s Festival of Trees is “Thank you for your service.” The tree honors those veterans who serve our country and keep us safe as we enjoy so many freedoms. Each “ornament” contains personal care products that will be donated to veterans at the Oakland Veterans Administration Campus.
79. Young Scholars of Greater Allegheny, “Scales and Steel: Strength in Growth” – This holiday season, YSGA Charter School proudly presents “Scales & Steel: Strength in Growth,” a festive celebration of the spirit of the season while honoring the incredible growth and resilience of our students, staff, and school community. Much like the steel beams rising around our campus, our students are building strong foundations of learning, character, and kindness. The dragon’s shimmering scales reflect the pride and determination that make our Blue Dragons shine, while the steel reminds us of the teamwork and strength that hold us together.
80. Serra Catholic High School Musical, “The Little Mermaid” – This tree is in honor of Serra’s upcoming spring musical, “The Little Mermaid!” Travel under the sea with Serra students on April 24, 25, and 26.
81. Mon Valley Active Life Center, “Santa’s Workshop” – Mon Valley Active Life Center seniors have been busy in Santa’s Workshop spreading laughter, creativity, and holiday cheer! Each ornament was made with joy — because at LifeSpan, the magic of Christmas lives in the hearts (and hands!) of everyone.
82. Broadway Pizza & Subs, “What’s Cooking for Christmas” — The holiday season is about spending time with family and friends. Spend less time in the kitchen and more time with each other, and decorate your table with a hot pizza pie!
83. City of McKeesport, “McKeesport Rising” – City staff have embraced Mayor Mike Cherepko’s McKeesport Rising Project, which highlights economic development, infrastructure improvements, and public safety. With all these positive things taking place, McKeesport is truly on the rise.
84. Mon Valley School, “Pittsburgh Pickle Tree” – This fun and festive tree is decorated with hand-crafted ornaments made by students at Mon Valley School – each one a creative twist on the Pittsburgh pickle tradition. From felt and yarn designs, students brought the legend to life – the idea that finding the hidden pickle brings good luck and a little extra holiday cheer.
85. Mission Agape, “Tiny Tree, Big Hearts” – Mission Agape thanks the McKeesport community for all of their compassion and support. This organization is honored to present a tiny tree of love and hope as a symbol of the tireless work its volunteers dedicate to ending food insecurity. Kindness and generosity allow Agape to provide charity and care to ensure both people and pets in our community are taken care of.
86. Fifth and Rebecca, “Enchanting Glam” – This unique tree is a vision of a vintage-inspired dame representing Christmases past.
87. McKeesport Fire Department, “Saluting Our Local Heroes” – The firefighters’ tree blends festive holiday charm with a heartfelt tribute to the heroes who keep our community safe. The bright, red ornaments, tinsel, and cozy lights reflect the pride and care they put into every call. Topped with a shining star, it stands as a simple reminder of their courage and kindness.
88. McKeesport Community Garden, “Pollinators’ Paradise” – This tree represents a variety of pollinators that help our environment, and ways that we can assist these pollinators. With colorful lights we show off these friends of our gardens, and with seed packets for lucky participants to take, we hope to expand the havens for these friends.
89. McKeesport Housing Authority, “Happy Birthday Little Debbie” – The McKeesport Housing Authority presents A Little Debbie Christmas. For 40 years, these cute cakes often kick off the holiday season in our grocery stores. We hope these little treats bring back joyous and happy Christmas memories! Enjoy! Merry Christmas from the MHA board and staff.
90. McKeesport Police Department, “Holiday Heroes” – This tree is decorated with blue light ornaments as a symbol of gratitude and support for our city’s law enforcement. The blue light reminds us of the dedication and service of the officers in our community while also honoring those no longer with us.
91. McKeesport Ambulance Rescue Service, “McKeesport Ambulance” – This tree is decorated with a few of the MARS emergency medical professionals’ favorite things – the tools they use on a daily basis to perform life-saving procedures. MARS provides emergency health care to the sick and injured within McKeesport, Duquesne, Dravosburg, Glassport and Port Vue.
