Tube City Community Media Inc. is seeking freelance writers to help cover city council, news and feature stories in McKeesport, Duquesne, White Oak and the neighboring communities. High school and college students seeking work experience are encouraged to apply; we are willing to work with students who need credit toward class assignments. McKeesport Presbyterian Church will be hosting a Fall Fest in the church parking lot from 3 to 6 p.m. Saturday (Oct. 29). There will be great food including chicken BBQ, games, prizes, face-painting, music, and more. The event is free but donations will be accepted.
The church is located at the corner of Versailles and Union Avenues and 1510 Versailles Ave. in McKeesport. For more information, call (412) 678-2000.
