The public golf course at South Park is now open daily, dawn to dusk, weather and conditions permitting, an Allegheny County parks spokeswoman said.
South Park includes an 18-hole, par 72 course and a nine-hole, par 35 course. The courses are USGA-rated with three tee placements.
Shelter rental and a snack shop is available and the cart path is blacktopped. Only players are permitted on the courses; no walkers or caddies are allowed.
Rates vary and range from $8 for youth players from Allegheny County on the nine-hole course, Monday through Thursday, to $25 for non-Allegheny County residents on the 18-hole course, Friday through Sunday. Senior citizens and disabled veterans are also eligible for special permits.
For complete details, visit the Allegheny County Parks Department's website or call (412) 835-3545.
