Tube City Community Media Inc. is seeking freelance writers to help cover city council, news and feature stories in McKeesport, Duquesne, White Oak and the neighboring communities. High school and college students seeking work experience are encouraged to apply; we are willing to work with students who need credit toward class assignments. Oldies Dances Slated at White Oak Legion

White Oak American Legion Post 701 will hold oldies dances from 7 to 11 p.m. April 7 and 21, a spokesman said.
Admission is $5 and music from the 1950s and '60s will be provided by DJs Candy and Mike.
The legion is located at 2813 Capital St. All proceeds benefit veterans programs. For more information, call (724) 984-6611.
