Ravine Street in Munhall Borough will reopen this afternoon, the Allegheny County Department of Public Works announced. The road was closed earlier this year to complete the replacement of Homeville Bridge No. 4. It is reopening three weeks ahead of schedule.
The $525,000 rehabilitation project was completed by Carmen Paliotta Contracting of South Park. The work included the replacement of the bridge box beams, deck, approach slabs, sidewalk, barrier walls, guiderail system and drainage.
