The McKeesport Lions Club will join state Sen. Jim Brewster, Mayor Michael Cherepko and state Rep. Austin Davis to host a blood drive from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.

Donna Byrne of the McKeesport Lions said the blood drive is being dedicated to first responders as well as victims of last year's shooting at the Tree of Life Synagogue in Squirrel Hill.

The event will be held at the McKee's Point Cafe on the first floor of the Palisades Ballroom, corner of Fifth Avenue and Water Street, Downtown.

To make an appointment, visit the Vitalant website, click the "Donate" link, and search for group code C2120033.
