Community Groups Plan Free Info Fair Wednesday in Duquesne

More than 30 community groups, businesses and organizations will meet with residents to provide information and answer questions at an event Wednesday in Duquesne.
The free community resource fair will be open from 4 to 7 p.m. in the gymnasium at Duquesne Elementary School, 300 Kennedy Ave., and is being sponsored by the Duquesne City School District. Refreshments will be served and no registration is necessary, a spokeswoman said.
Participating organizations and individuals include Adagio Health, PA Career Link, Mon Valley Initiative, Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank, Duquesne/West Mifflin Boys and Girls Club, CCAC, the offices of state Rep. Austin Davis and state Sen. Jim Brewster, Penn State University, Sam’s Club, Jefferson Hills Association, Woodforest National Bank, Urban League of Greater Pittsburgh, Steel Center for Career and Technical Education, Bidwell Training Center, Head Start – Allegheny Intermediate Unit, West Mifflin Area School District, East Allegheny School District, Women for a Healthy Environment, Amachi Pittsburgh, Duquesne Family Center, Mon Yough Community Services, and Douglas Education Center.
