South Allegheny High School will celebrate homecoming on Oct. 2 with a parade, beginning at 6 p.m. at Seventh Street and Monongahela Avenue in Glassport, a spokesperson said.
The parade will continue to Glassport Memorial Stadium, were the homecoming king and queen will be crowned during a ceremony beginning at 6:30 p.m.
The Gladiators will face Keystone Oaks at 7 p.m. in the homecoming football game.
Nominees for Homecoming King are Danny Bowling, Noah Elder, Tywuan Igles, Falco Muscante and Noah Stoker.
Nominees for Homecoming Queen are Amber Brownfield, Jenee Ewing, Madi Lotz, Nikki Ruhl and Gabbie Williams.
A portion of Monongahela Avenue will be closed from 5:30 to 6:30 to permit the parade.
