White Oak Borough will hold a “Truck-or-Treat” event at the community center at the White Oak Athletic Association on Oct. 26.

Councilman Lou Bender announced details of the event at September’s borough council meeting.

This free, public event will include a Halloween parade on community center grounds, music, snacks, treat bags, prizes for best boy and girl costumes, and the opportunity to see, touch and explore trucks and heavy machinery.

Line up for the parade will begin at 11:30 a.m. with other activities to follow. Both parents and children are encouraged to dress in costume.

Additionally, White Oak’s trick-or-treat will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 31.
