“Wise Walks” have resumed in Renziehausen Park under the guidance of the Carnegie Library of McKeesport.

A spokeswoman said participants meet at 2:30 p.m. Tuesdays at the parking lot of the McKeesport Regional History & Heritage Center, 1832 Arboretum Drive, and walk through the park.

“You can walk at your own pace, with the library, with friends or by yourself,” she said. All ages are welcome.

Walkers return to the heritage center at 3:45 p.m. to log their steps and enjoy refreshments.

Wise Walks continue through Nov. 5.

The Carnegie Library also is hosting “Gentle Yoga” from 10 to 10:30 a.m. on the second and fourth Thursday of each month. Participants can spend a half-hour working on movement, strength and balance.

The sessions are free but registration in advance is requested. The next session is Sept. 26 and meets on the lawn of the library, weather-permitting, at 1507 Library Ave.

For more information about yoga, wise walks or any other program, call (412) 672-0625 or visit www.mckeesportlibrary.org.
