Current students and alumni who are looking for an internship or part-time, seasonal or full-time employment are invited to attend the 2015 Career and Internship Fair at Penn State's Greater Allegheny Campus in McKeesport.
The event will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday (Oct. 29) in the Wunderley Gymnasium. Attendees must wear business dress and bring a resume.
"This is a great opportunity for our students and alumni to network and market themselves," said Erica Clarke, career services coordinator/instructor in communications at Penn State Greater Allegheny. "They will have access to employees they otherwise may not get the chance to meet."
Employers will be on hand looking to fill seasonal jobs, co-ops, part-time, and even full-time positions. Clarke said that many of the employers may even conduct mini-interviews with some students on the spot.
The following businesses are currently scheduled to attend the fair: Aerotech Inc., American Textile Company, Auberle, Crowne Plaza Pittsburgh South, Dollar Bank, Eat’n Park, Express Employment Professionals, Family Behavioral Resources, First Niagara Bank, Giant Eagle, Glade Run Lutheran Services, Goodwill of Southwest PA, Home Instead Senior Care, Mass Mutual of Pittsburgh, Mon Yough Chamber of Commerce, Northwestern Mutual, Old Navy, Oxford Solutions, Public Allies Pittsburgh, Rivers Casino, Step by Step Inc., Turtle Creek Valley MHMR, UPS, University of Pittsburgh.
