A Glassport man was charged after McKeesport police said he left the scene of an accident on Lysle Boulevard Wednesday afternoon.

McKeesport police said two vehicles were stopped for a traffic light at Coursin Street on Wednesday afternoon when a third vehicle was unable to stop and collided with them.

The impact pushed the second car into the first car at the intersection, police said. The third vehicle then left the scene.

Police said the third car was stopped a short time later by Liberty Borough police. McKeesport police identified the driver as Jesse L. Egenlauf, 32. He is charged by McKeesport police with leaving the scene of an accident, careless driving, driving without a license and driving without proper registration.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for March 16 before Magisterial District Judge Eugene Riazzi.
