Tube City Community Media Inc. is seeking freelance writers to help cover city council, news and feature stories in McKeesport, Duquesne, White Oak and the neighboring communities. High school and college students seeking work experience are encouraged to apply; we are willing to work with students who need credit toward class assignments. Christy Park United Methodist Church, 29th and Beale streets, will hold a pancake breakfast from 8 a.m. to 12 noon March 21, a spokeswoman said. Cost is $6 for adults and $3 for children 12 and under. Cookbooks also will be on sale.
