Crafts, Live Music Mark Good Neighbor Day

After a year off due to the COVID-19 pandemic, McKeesport’s Good Neighbor Day will return Wednesday (June 16) to Fifth Avenue, Downtown.

A spokesperson said more than 40 organizations are scheduled to participate, including food vendors, craft booths and games for kids, local public officials, community service groups, churches and businesses.

Events will continue from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. along a two-block stretch of Fifth Avenue between Market and Locust streets. Admission is free.

Some participants will include Carnegie Library of McKeesport, The Blessing Board, Allegheny Intermediate Unit, McKeesport Lions Club, King’s Table Church, McKeesport Trail Commission, Allegheny County Health Department, UPMC Latterman Health Center, Renzie Market, Mon River Fleet, Port Authority of Allegheny County, McKeesport Little Theater and McKeesport Regional History & Heritage Center.
