Since he joined the fire department in 2002, Tony Villinger has wanted to keep the Rainbow Volunteer Fire Co.’s Christmas traditions going.

“I joined the fire department back in 2002, and have been involved with the show since 2005,” Villinger said.

The Rainbow Volunteer Fire Co. will hold its annual Holiday Craft and Vendor Show Nov. 14 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The show will feature a variety of vendors, including Farmers Insurance, Color Street, Auberle and Paparazzi.

There will also be a concession stand, bake sale and crafters.

Villinger said, “Here is just a sample of what someone will find at the event…wooden toys, handmade jewelry, holiday wreaths, handmade knitted items, handbags and totes.”

Villinger has been involved with the craft show for 16 years. But he estimates the show has been in existence “for at least 30 years, if not longer.”

In addition to the Holiday Craft and Vendor Show, Rainbow Volunteer Fire Co. holds an annual Christmas tree sale, gun bash, fish fry and car cruise, as well as hosting Light Up Night with the Borough of White Oak.

“We still have a couple of spots left,” Villinger said. “Anyone interested can contact me at 412-672-6043.”
