High school and college students seeking work experience are encouraged to apply; we are willing to work with students who need credit toward class assignments. The grand opening for the West Newton Farm & Vendor Market Expo is from 2 to 7 p.m. May 13, a spokesman said.
Aaron Nelson of Downtown West Newton Inc. said food trucks and vendors are being sought. Spaces will cost $15 each. For more information, call (724) 872-0100.
