Tube City Community Media Inc. is seeking freelance writers to help cover city council, news and feature stories in McKeesport, Duquesne, White Oak and the neighboring communities. High school and college students seeking work experience are encouraged to apply; we are willing to work with students who need credit toward class assignments. West Newton First Church of God, 157 N. Second St., is holding a hoagie sale to raise funds for its upcoming mission trip. Hoagies will be available on July 20 for $10. Telephone orders will be taken at (724) 872-7467 and hoagies may be picked up in the afternoon. Leftover hoagies will be sold at Ace Hardware and Rite-Aid, a spokesperson said.
