Traffic Stop, Pursuit: A McKeesport woman is charged by McKeesport police with fleeing and eluding police, reckless driving, unsafe passing and speeding following an incident late on the evening of Sept. 23. Police said that officers attempted to stop a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed in the 700 block of Evans Avenue. Instead, the vehicle fled. Police said the driver was identified as Deborah Campbell, 36, and she was arrested at her home. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Nov. 14 before Magisterial District Justice Eugene Riazzi Jr.

Teen Charged: A 17-year-old from Duquesne was charged by McKeesport police with burglary, theft by deception, driving without a license, disorderly conduct and traffic violations following a traffic stop at 3 a.m. Sept. 27 in the 1300 block of Fremont Street. McKeesport police said the teen-ager is suspected in the theft of a cell phone, cash and car keys Sept. 26 from a home in the 1400 block of Meadow Street.

Drug Charges: Nicole Delancey, 26, of North Versailles Twp. was charged Sept. 27 by McKeesport police with possession of a controlled substance, possession with intent to deliver and giving false identification to law enforcement. Police said Delancey was stopped for a traffic violation on the night of July 18 and had in her possession five stamp bags of suspected heroin and two small bags of suspected cocaine. She was ordered held for court following a preliminary hearing Oct. 3 before Magisterial District Justice Eugene Riazzi Jr. Formal arraignment is slated for Nov. 21 in Allegheny County Common Pleas Court.

Firearms and Drug Charges Filed: A McKeesport man faces charges after officers searching his home recovered cash, heroin, marijuana and weapons. Aubrey Matthews, 52, is free on $25,000 bond pending a preliminary hearing Oct. 17 before Magisterial District Justice Eugene Riazzi Jr.

Police said that narcotics detectives obtained a warrant to search Matthews' home on Stewart Street on the afternoon of Sept. 29 and recovered five bundles of suspected heroin, marijuana, a 12-gauge shotgun with a pistol grip, a .410-gauge shotgun with a sawed-off barrel, and other suspected contraband.

Matthews is charged by McKeesport police with possession of a controlled substance, possession with intent to deliver, possession of drug paraphernalia and firearms violations.

Access Device Fraud: Devaughn T. Thompson, 35, no fixed address, was charged Sept. 30 by McKeesport police with access device fraud and receiving stolen property. Police allege that Thompson used a lost or stolen debit card to make multiple purchases in September at several different stores. Thompson is free on $5,000 bond pending a preliminary hearing scheduled for 1 p.m. Oct. 17 before Magisterial District Justice Eugene Riazzi Jr.

Driver Hurt in Crash: One person was injured after a car went out of control and rolled over on Hartman Street early on the morning of Oct. 1. McKeesport police said the driver, identified as Felicia Clifford, 28, of North Versailles Twp. was taken by ambulance to UPMC McKeesport hospital after the car she was driving struck a wall at 914 Hartman St. The accident happened about 1:43 a.m. A passenger in the vehicle declined treatment, police said. The crash is under investigation.
