Tube City Community Media Inc. is seeking freelance writers to help cover city council, news and feature stories in McKeesport, Duquesne, White Oak and the neighboring communities. High school and college students seeking work experience are encouraged to apply; we are willing to work with students who need credit toward class assignments. 'Toy Bash' Will Benefit Dravosburg Firefighters

A "toy bash" will be held Nov. 12 at the McKeesport Palisades, 100 Fifth Ave., to benefit Dravosburg Volunteer Fire Department No. 1, a spokeswoman said.
Doors open at 2 p.m. and the drawings begin at 3.
Events will include a 50/50 drawing, a Chinese auction and a "pick of the table." Tickets are $20 and can be purchased at the fire hall, 598 Ravine St, Dravosburg, or call (412) 466-2405.
