Tube City Community Media Inc. is seeking freelance writers to help cover city council, news and feature stories in McKeesport, Duquesne, White Oak and the neighboring communities. High school and college students seeking work experience are encouraged to apply; we are willing to work with students who need credit toward class assignments. McKeesport Area Ministerium will again hold a series of inter-denominational lunchtime services on Wednesdays during Lent, a spokeswoman said.
Each service will begin at 12 noon at a different area church or location, and will include a light lunch. A donation will be accepted to help defray the cost of the meals.
The first service is this Wednesday at 12 noon at Rainbow Temple, 536 Shaw Ave.
