We Are Non-Partisan, OK?

I don't want to throw anyone under the bus, but let me just say this, for the record:

No, I don't maintain the Facebook feeds for any city committee, including the International Village committee.

Tube City Community Media Inc. does not endorse political candidates and is required, by law, not to endorse political candidates. We engage only in non-partisan activities. We also do not lobby on behalf of candidates or parties, either on this website, on Facebook or Twitter, or anywhere else for that matter; nor do we criticize candidates for office. We are not allowed to do that --- full stop.

When we do publish opinions, we make sure to label them as opinions of individual people, and those people sign their names to the opinions; occasionally, someone uses a pen name, and I make them write an explanation why they need a pen name.

Tube City Community Media Inc. and Skymagik Internet Services host the International Village website, free of charge to city taxpayers. We also provide the online video and audio feeds of International Village. We do it because we enjoy doing it, and because we want to give back to the community.

That is the corporation's sole involvement with International Village, and it is also my sole personal involvement with International Village (other than stuffing my fat face).

And this seems obvious, but I, personally, do not endorse or do any work on behalf of any political candidates, in McKeesport or anywhere else.

First of all, my endorsement and a quarter wouldn't get you a Tootsie Roll, but besides that, I am not even a resident of the city of McKeesport.

So as the Polish say, "Nie mój cyrk, nie moje małpy": Not my circus, not my monkeys.

Good Lord. Is the election over yet?
