Voters in Several Areas Have New Polling Places

Voters in several Mon-Yough area neighborhoods will have new places to vote in next week's primary, a county spokeswoman said.

Voters who live in McKeesport's 11th Ward, 1st District, will now vote at the Christy Park United Methodist Church, 426 29th St.

In Dravosburg, voters in District 2 now vote at the borough offices, 226 Maple Ave.
    
Voters in Munhall's District 5 now vote at Anne Ashley Memorial United Methodist Church, 334 East 22nd Ave., while in Pleasant Hills, voters in District 4 will vote at Pleasant Hills Community Presbyterian Church, 199 Old Clairton Road.

Voters in Rankin Ward 3 will vote at Rankin Volunteer Fire Department, 320 Hawkins Ave.

In all, 30 Allegheny County polling places have changed since the last election, a spokeswoman said.

Residents who intend to vote in next Tuesday’s election that they may verify their registration, look up their polling place and view a sample ballot online at http://apps.county.allegheny.pa.us/VoteDistricts/.

Polling places will open at 7 a.m. and will remain open through 8 p.m.  First-time voters in a district are reminded that they must provide proof of identification pursuant to federal and state law.

Completed absentee ballot must be returned to the Elections Division no later than 5 p.m. this Friday, May 15.
