Tube City Community Media Inc. is seeking freelance writers to help cover city council, news and feature stories in McKeesport, Duquesne, White Oak and the neighboring communities. High school and college students seeking work experience are encouraged to apply; we are willing to work with students who need credit toward class assignments. McKeesport Art Group's 57th annual show and sale is this Friday, Saturday and Sunday at Jacob Woll Pavilion in Renziehausen Park
Hours are 5 to 9 p.m. Friday, 12 to 8 p.m. Saturday and 12 to 6 p.m. Sunday, a spokeswoman said.
More than 100 paintings, photographs and other work from local artists will be on display in categories that include students, amateurs and professionals. In addition, art and crafts will be on sale.
