Many of the trees, shrubs, and perennials in our yards are edible, but do you know which ones? Discover which plants in your landscape are edible and learn about ornamental edibles you can add to your garden.
Gardener, writer and designer Martha Swiss will present "Ornamental Edibles—How to have a Delicious and Beautiful Landscape" at the Landmarks Preservation Resource Center, 744 Rebecca Ave., Wilkinsburg at 6 p.m. Tuesday (June 9).
Swiss is a regular contributor to Pennsylvania Gardener magazine and the publications editor for the Pittsburgh Botanic Garden. Her articles have also appeared in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette and Fine Gardening. She is a graduate of Chatham University’s landscape design program and a Penn State master gardener.
This lecture is free to members of the Pittsburgh History & Landmarks Foundation and $5 for all others.
To RSVP or get more information, call Mary Lu Denny at (412) 471-5808, ext. 527.
