Tube City Community Media Inc. is seeking freelance writers to help cover city council, news and feature stories in McKeesport, Duquesne, White Oak and the neighboring communities. High school and college students seeking work experience are encouraged to apply; we are willing to work with students who need credit toward class assignments. McKeesport Area High School Tiger Marching Band is selling face masks as a fundraiser.
A spokesperson said the masks are three-ply, washable, and come in two sizes, youth and adult. Masks cost $10 each, which must be paid when the orders are placed.
Deadline is Aug. 7 and the masks will ship Aug. 22. Additional information and an order form are available on the band’s website, www.mhstigerband.com.
