High school and college students seeking work experience are encouraged to apply; we are willing to work with students who need credit toward class assignments. The West Newton Lions Club, 511 Pittsburgh St., will hold an Ash Wednesday (Feb. 17) fish fry to raise money to support its programs.
The menu includes Alaskan pollock deep-fried fish sandwich platter, baked macaroni & cheese or haluski, and cole slaw for $12, or a fish sandwich only for $6.75.
All orders are to-go only, a spokeswoman said. Orders should be placed at the front window and picked up at the rear entrance.
