Guffey Road to Close for Emergency Repairs

A section of Guffey Road in North Huntingdon Twp. will close next week for emergency repairs, said a district spokesman for the state Department of Transporation.

Crews will close Guffey between Mickanin Road and Shaner Road so that a slide can be repaired and other modifications can be made to the road, PennDOT said. The closure will continue through Aug. 10.

A posted detour will be in place using Station Road and Turner Valley Road.
