Tube City Community Media Inc. is seeking freelance writers to help cover city council, news and feature stories in McKeesport, Duquesne, White Oak and the neighboring communities. High school and college students seeking work experience are encouraged to apply; we are willing to work with students who need credit toward class assignments. Please send cover letter, resume, two writing samples and the name of a reference (an employer, supervisor, teacher, etc. -- not a relative) to tubecitytiger@gmail.com.

We would like to extend BIG thank yous to Sofia S., Bob D. and Dennis B. for donations of $95 to help us produce this year's broadcast of McKeesport International Village, Aug. 16, 17 and 18!

We would like to raise at least $750.

Any extra not spent on the International Village broadcast will go directly toward keeping our websites --- Tube City Online, McKeesportObituaries.com and WMCK.FM --- operational.

(We also donate to the City of McKeesport and maintain, free of charge, the International Village website at www.internationalvillage.info.)
