Robbery Charges: Anthony L. Payne-Stinson, 21, of McKeesport was charged by McKeesport police with robbery, illegal possession of a firearm, theft, simple assault and carrying a firearm without a license in connection with an incident that happened early on the morning of Feb. 1 in Tube Works Alley. Police said the victim was walking home from a nearby tavern when she was approached by a man brandishing a firearm. The man demanded her coat and purse, then fled. Payne-Stinson was arrested by McKeesport police Feb. 13 and charged in connection with the robbery. Following a preliminary hearing March 5 before Magisterial District Judge Eugene Riazzi, Payne-Stinson was ordered held for court pending formal arraignment April 19 in Allegheny County Court. He is currently being held in Allegheny County Jail in lieu of $15,000 bond.
Firearms Charges: Antawn Durant, 34, of Wilkinsburg was charged by McKeesport police with illegal possession of a firearm, receiving stolen property, carrying a firearm without a license, giving false identification to law enforcement, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and carrying a loaded weapon following a stop early on the morning of Feb. 2 near the intersection of Evans and Lamont avenues. Following a preliminary hearing before Riazzi, Durant was ordered held for court pending formal arraignment March 29 in Allegheny County Court. Durant is currently being held in Allegheny County Jail in lieu of $35,000 bond.
Lamont Jackson Jr., 28, of no fixed address was charged by McKeesport police with illegal possession of a firearm, receiving stolen property and obstructing the administration of justice following an incident at 9:53 p.m. Feb. 4 at Crawford Village. Police said officers responding to report of a dispute in one of the apartments found Jackson holding a gun that had been reported stolen Dec. 6 from a home in White Oak. Jackson is being held in Allegheny County Jail in lieu of $2,500 bond pending a preliminary hearing March 12 before Riazzi.
DUI Charges: Vince Kelly, 57, of McKeesport was charged by McKeesport police with driving under the influence of alcohol and recklessly endangering another person following a traffic stop in the 2700 block of Versailles Avenue at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 2. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for March 26 before Riazzi.
Darryl E. Beck Jr., 31, of Vero Beach, Fla., was charged by McKeesport police with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving with a suspended license and careless driving following a traffic stop on Pirl Street at 2:13 a.m. Feb. 3. Following a preliminary hearing Feb. 12 before Riazzi, Beck was ordered held for court pending formal arraignment March 29 in Allegheny County Court. Beck is currently being held in the Allegheny County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bond.
Shannon R. Doven, 41, of Pittsburgh was charged by McKeesport police with driving under the influence following a traffic stop just before 11 p.m. Feb. 15 in the 1600 block of Fifth Avenue. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for April 23 before Riazzi.
Drug Charges: Romika L. Harden, 19, of McKeesport was charged by McKeesport police with possession of a controlled substance and possession with intent to deliver following a stop at the corner of Bailie and Evans avenues just before 3 a.m. Feb. 3. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for March 26 before Riazzi.
Theft Charges: Xavian Gray, 20, of McKeesport was charged by McKeesport police with theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property following an incident Feb. 5 at a home on Pacific Avenue. Police said that Gray is a suspect in the theft of three gold necklaces from a relative. Following a preliminary hearing Feb. 26 before Riazzi, Gray was ordered held for court pending formal arraignment April 12 in Allegheny County Court. He is free on recognizance bond.
Trespass Charges: Darryl Clark Jr., 35, of McKeesport was charged by McKeesport police in connection with a break-in at a home in the 1200 block of Ravine Street at 4 a.m. Feb. 6. Following a preliminary hearing Feb. 12 before Riazzi, Clark was ordered held for court on charges of criminal trespass, loitering and prowling at night and criminal mischief. A charge of burglary was withdrawn. Clark is being held in the Allegheny County Jail in lieu of $1,000 bond pending formal arraignment March 29 in Allegheny County Court.
Assault Charges: Asia Taylor, 30, of McKeesport was charged by McKeesport police with aggravated assault following a dispute at a home on Soles Street just after 5 a.m. Feb. 14. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for April 16 before Riazzi.
Tywon Moody, 18, of McKeesport was charged by McKeesport police with simple assault, making terroristic threats and recklessly endangering other persons following an incident at a residence on Grandview Avenue just after 10 a.m. Feb. 10. Following a hearing March 5 before Riazzi, Moody was ordered held for court pending formal arraignment April 19 in Allegheny County Court. Moody is currently being held in the Allegheny County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bond.
